Family programs for children and parents

St Giles International School of English offers Family Course programs for the whole family. This is a great opportunity to combine holidays with study abroad for children and their parents.

Recall that St Giles International is an international language school with campuses located in the UK, USA and Canada. Today, the language center is one of the most famous international private English language learning organizations based in the UK.

Language courses for children and parents are offered in Brighton, Cambridge, London and New York. In 2020, the program is first offered not only in the summer, but also in the spring.

The recommended age of children is 7-15 years old, and in London and Cambridge programs are designed for children of five to six years old!

What the standard program includes:

 20 English lessons per week

 Activities and excursions

 Accommodation and meals

 Certificate after successful completion of the course

All teachers are qualified native English speakers, many of whom have many years of teaching experience. During the course, classes are held every morning in modern classrooms.

After morning activities, the whole family can enjoy daytime activities together three times a week, as well as a weekly full-day excursion with other families from around the world. Activities may include sports in the park, guided walks and visits to local attractions and museums. The rest of the week can be spent enjoying free time together and exploring the cities of Brighton, Cambridge, London or New York!

St Giles International does not have its own residence, but you can use one of three accommodation options: homestay, apartment rental or hotel room. The full package price includes homestay in double rooms with breakfast every day and light lunches on weekdays. These families are usually 45-60 minutes from school.

How will classes be held at the Family Course program

Courses start year-round on Mondays, you need to arrive at school in one day - on Sunday. Classes begin at 9 in the morning - usually parents bring their children to class five minutes before the start of the lesson, so that they can get to their class later. But, in principle, classes are held in neighboring rooms, so you should not worry.

The lessons last until 13-00, after their completion you will be offered lunch. From 14-00 to 17-00 - time for the planned activities.

In Brighton, this can be an excursion to the Brighton Royal Pavilion or Sapsurfing (a water sport in which a surfer, standing on a board, rides the waves and paddles at the same time).

In Cambridge, you will be offered to visit the famous university of the same name or a boat trip on the river. And the school’s location in New York, next to the Empire State Building on the famous 5th Avenue, means you don’t have to go far to see many of the city’s main attractions.

But if you do not like such an active holiday, do not worry! The school is very flexible both in matters of English courses and leisure activities, and you are sure to pick something up to your taste.

After five in the evening, your family will have free time, which you can spend at your discretion.
